Controller and locally processed files

Arcane Softwares LLC is responsible for the personal data it processes to operate imgpact and respond to messages. Its registered address, company identification and contact details appear below.

The image, GIF, video and PDF tools process your files in your browser. The application does not send their contents or filenames to a conversion server and does not build a server-side archive of your documents. Keep originals and check results. Documents you separately choose to send by email are a different matter: do not attach private documents to an initial support request.

Technical requests and providers

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and public software assets through Pages and R2 and helps protect it. Requests convey information including IP address, time, requested URL and browser information. Cloudflare acts as a processor for certain customer logs and as a controller for certain network-data processing, as its notice explains.

This version also loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives the technical information needed for those requests. Local file processing does not make browsing anonymous. Do not put personal or document data in site URLs.

Email addressed to the operator is handled through Google Workspace. The operator and its email provider receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Access concerns handling your request; no identity document is required to use a tool.

Purposes and legal grounds

Technical data is used to deliver, operate and protect the site. Messages are used to answer questions, resolve an issue or handle a data-rights request.

Where the GDPR applies, technical operation, security and ordinary support rely on the legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure service and responding to users. Requests required by data-protection legislation also rely on the relevant legal obligation. Using a tool or contacting the operator is not consent to advertising or analytics.

Retention

Theme and language preferences remain on your device as described on the Cookies page; you can clear them in your browser. Retention of technical information depends on the Cloudflare or Google service used, its function and the provider rules linked above.

For correspondence, the relevant criteria are the time needed to handle the request, any follow-up or dispute and applicable legal duties. A single period does not cover every provider and type of request. Contact the operator for information applicable to a specific request.

International processing

Arcane Softwares LLC is registered in Georgia. Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so technical or correspondence data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. This does not concern the contents of files processed locally by the tools.

The documents below describe the arrangements and safeguards offered by these providers. You can ask the operator about the safeguards applicable to your data. These links do not mean that a particular contractual safeguard automatically covers every data flow.

Rights and complaints

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and withdraw consent where a processing activity relies on it. Contact the operator using the details below and describe your request without attaching confidential files. Information needed to verify it may be requested where necessary.

Where the GDPR applies, you may complain to the competent authority, including in the EU country where you live or work or where the alleged infringement occurred; in France, this is the CNIL. Georgian law also provides remedies, including an application to the State Audit Office in its data-protection role. Contacting the operator does not remove your right to approach an authority or court.

Analytics and advertising

This version does not load Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or AdSense. It does not collect new tool-use events or create a new persistent identifier. The retired imgpact-sid identifier is removed when the site loads.

The Cookies window is informational: Got it closes it without recording consent. Any later activation of optional services will require updated information and an appropriate choice mechanism before use.
